CIMB Asia Pacific Classic at Malaysia, the first ever PGA TOUR sanctioned event in Southeast Asia. This premier golf tournament (which is also sanctioned by the Asian Tour) will be held at Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club.

The CIMB Classic PGA tournament will see a top-class international field of 40 players competing for a $6.2 million prize purse, with $1,260,000 million going to the winner.
The tournament will feature the top 25 available players from the PGA TOUR's final FedExCup standings and the top 10 available Asian players. Five sponsor exemptions will make up the rest of the field, with at least one place reserved for a Malaysian professional.
Top golfers such as Andik Mauludin and Sarmilih KZ of Indonesia, Mardan Mamat and Lam Chih Bing of Singapore and Thaworn Wiratchant and Panuwat Muenlek of Thailand will take part in the closed 36-hole stroke play tournament.

2011 CIMB Asia Pacific Classic Winner
Bo Van Pelt wins the 2011 CIMB Asia Pacific Classic Malaysia with an impressive seven-under 64, allowing him to cruise to a six-stroke victory at The Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club. Van Pelt won by going bogey-free over the tournament's last 34 holes to finish at a tournament-record 23-under 261. He entered the day one shot ahead of Jeff Overton, but increased the lead to three by the fourth hole and six by the 14th.
2010 CIMB Asia Pacific Classic Winner
Ben Crane won the inaugural 2010 CIMB Asia Pacific Classic, eagling the par-4 15th and making an 8-foot birdie putt on the final hole to beat England's Brian Davis by a stroke. Crane closed with a 2-under 69 at The Mines to finish at 18 under and earn $1 million in the first PGA TOUR-sanctioned event in Southeast Asia.
